Work Package 2: Arable/ Horticulture Collaborative Case Study

This Work Package is centred on the aim of advancing farmers’ best-fit practices for multiple benefits, such as productivity, efficiency, sustainability and food security, while reducing environmental impacts. Fundamental to this Work Package is the concept of co-innovation: where multiple stakeholders combine to develop new or different solutions to complex problems, recognising that collaboration can be key to progress.

As such, options and priorities for best-fit practices with multiple benefits will be developed through co-innovation with the community of practice. These co-developed field, farm and collective practices will then be tested by a Living Lab: a collection of farmers, researchers and other stakeholders, who carry out on-farm trials to test practical proposals and solutions.
